With so much room to share at Ty Gwyn it can sometimes be hard to find everyone, hence the old fire bell as a call to dinner!
By the time you have a handful of people in the bar, the lounge, games room, cinema, dining room, you could easily lose 30 guests. And that’s just in the house! If some are in the garden, hot tub or sauna, playing 5-a-aside football or Frisbee golf then the house is completely empty!
Comfortable relaxed surroundings where you can just relax and kick back, this is no stuffy stately home. Ty Gwyn is a place to be enjoyed with family and friends, no matter what the occasion.
Opportunities abound to relax and engage. Put your feet up in the airy and spacious lounge whilst soaking up the warmth from the log burner. Sink into a bean bag and pop your favourite shows on the 65-inch 4K television. There’s room for 20 on the sofas, and more on the bean bags - but it still feels snug. Listen to music on the Sonos system, lie back with a book or chat among friends.
For those quieter moments, take five and read a book or play a game in the light and airy conservatory with its lovingly restored arched windows.

The genuine oak bar with its optics, beer pump (decorative!) and custom made beer mats create that warm and welcoming feel of your local. Music is carried through via the Sonos system, perfectly linking the dining and bar area.
Prop an elbow on the bar and watch the flames in the built-in fire or practice your bar skills from behind the counter.
The more adventurous might consider calling ‘The Wonder Bar’ - a cocktail (and mocktail) making duo who come to the house and run fabulous evenings mixing and making. No taxi home required!
The bar was a particular big hit as was the cinema room... read more
