I don’t know actually know where to begin to describe how gorgeous this place is, the house is beautiful, immaculate and has literally everything you need to have a perfect stay and the surrounding area in general is stunning also. Every person I dealt with through the planning was so lovely and helpful. I couldn’t recommend it enough! We can’t wait to go back already it’s such a special place! We had the most unbelievable time and made great memories on the hen do, I can’t thank you enough for everything

This place is amazing just spent 2 nights on my daughters hendo and it was simply fantastic in every way , this house has everything and more from the amount of spacious rooms to the hot tub sauna cinema & studio , we hired yoga class cocktail making class and a chef to cook and i would highly recommended each one , we wished we had stayed longer as the house is so comfortable and even with 22 ladies we still had plenty of space , hopefully will hire the house again in the future for some special occasions why go abroad when The big house by the sea has everything you need

Well I actually do not know where to start with this review! We spent Friday to Monday last week at big house by the sea for my hen weekend, and what a weekend it was! The house and views are amazing even more so in real life. I literally lived on cloud 9 all weekend, it was spectacular! I wish I’d have known about the place before I booked my wedding because I’d have 100% booked it! I have some amazing videos of the views that some of my party had taken but I can’t seem to upload them on the reviews, I will try to pin to my Facebook page and set them to public so by all means take a look. We stayed at Big House By The Sea the weekend of the 25th - 28th March for my 50th Birthday. The house is amazing, stunning views and everything you need all under one roof. The facilities we had inside the house were fantastic , the dining room , the bar, the kitchen , the living room , all the bedrooms , the Ice machine (a personal fave), the hot tub , the sauna and the icing on the cake the studio. I was lucky enough to have everything planned for me by my friends Laura and her Team. I had my own rave on the Friday, Saturday night Party night with a video of This is your Life and a pamper night. All enjoyed by me and all my Family and Friends and I will cherish the memories forever. Thanks to all who came to celebrate with me and to the Big House Team for all making my 50th a Birthday one to remember. Love you all xx

We have just returned from my best friends hen party and what a weekend it was! The house is fabulous, the views are absolutely stunning! There is nothing more we could’ve asked for! I just want to say a massive thank you to Jacquie at The Social Pantri for cooking us the most beautiful Italian meal on the Sunday. We had vegetarians and lactose free amongst the guests and nothing was too much trouble! It really did finish off the weekend fabulously! We all can’t wait to return!

Just returned from a memorable 4 night stay at Big House By The Sea. Wow what a place and where do I start! Location out of this world, view of the sea immense. Outside facilities fantastic, sauna, Hot Tub, Football & Basketball pitch, the decking seating area is a perfect spot facing the sea, what a joy. The inside of the house is incredible, the cinema a great touch. The kitchen, dining and bar areas every detail had been thought of, there was nothing that I needed that wasn’t already there. The Pantry area is so handy with large groups of people. We have stayed in many large houses and it is rare to get the standard of appliances that are available. A shout out to Jacqui who helped my children to organise a surprise birthday party for me in the best venue ever, “The Studio’ at the back of the property. I cannot recommend staying here enough and would ideally like to keep it as my little secret, but I cannot, it is without doubt a place to shout out about. Where do I begin, the house is spotless, beds are comfy, everything that you think you would need to have a thoroughly good weekend is there. We spent Friday evening in the studio with a buffet and DJ to celebrate my 39+1. Saturday some of our group of 30 chilled in the sauna, hot tub, cinema, some went to the beach, some went to the pub. Everyone filtered to the in-house pub slowly but surely and we set up the dining room for a curry night and Karaoke. We had an absolute ball! If you need a weekend of switching off and relaxing without having to go anywhere this is your place. Beautiful setting, brilliant hosts, great communication and we have rebooked for next year the day after we got home.

This place is absolutely amazing , myself and 22 friends spent the weekend celebrating my 60th Birthday at the Big House and could not of wished for a better venue. Just fantastic. Jacquie provided a fabulous buffet , all homemade and absolutely delicious. The studio , hot tub and sauna exceeded our expectations too. Would highly recommend this place.

Had the best time staying at Big House by the Sea. I celebrated my 60th birthday with lovely friends. The house was absolutely perfect! Lots of attention to detail and loads of fun things to do both inside and outside of the house! Will definitely come back for more!

The moment you pull in to The Big House by the Sea you are amazed at the beautiful view and surroundings. The house is huge and steeped in history, it has everything you could possibly need. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room is big enough to hold many people. It is where we spent most of our time, as it sits perfectly between the kitchen and bar. The studio is a great space and it was perfect for us to set up a party in, such a lovely addition to the home. We could have spent a lot longer enjoying this beautiful house, it’s a winner and all of our guests agreed. We will be back x
