There are 2 irons and ironing boards in the cupboard in the dining room.
There are 2 cots, one kept in the Brown Room and one kept in Jack’s Room. We don’t provide bedding for the cots.
You only need to turn on one or two units. Press Eco and select the required temperature – 18 degrees will be enough if you’re partying!
We supply logs and firelighters but you may want to bring a few bags of kindling with you (or purchase from the village shop) if you aren’t confident in lighting stoves. This is a good short film to help you light your stove.
The stove in the lounge and sauna can just tick over to be warm enough but the stove for the hot tub needs to be ‘raging’ to get the water up to temperature.
There is a marked, green 600L bin in the courtyard for glass, paper, cardboard, tins etc – this is collected on Wednesdays.
We have 2 x 1.5m round tables and 12 chairs up permanently in the Studio, we can hire in more for weddings etc. There are also 12 bar stools under the wall shelves.
Yes there are 2 banks of 7 double sockets and 2 banks of 4.
Yes, but only if you don’t cause any damage. Sellotape will damage the walls and woodwork for instance. We have provided hooks on the scaffold bars in The Studio to hang things from. Please don’t use foil based glitter bombs anywhere, they are impossible to clean up after!
Trains to London and Birmingham run every 2 hours and the station in Llwyngwril is a 10 minute walk from Ty Gwyn.
Head up to the main road and turn right towards the Tywyn direction. Walk to the edge of the village and turn up left just before the National speed limit signs and the yellow racing bicycle.
We used to, but towels were left outside or down by the beach so you now need to bring your own.
